As known, the number of angels is immeasurable, their aspect being beautiful and dreadful at the same time. I therefore exclude one thing: their appearance as naked Loves or puttos, those little late ancient time or baroque angels, then considered official figures of the Church. I was driven to engage in the visual magnificence of these creatures especially by William Blake's eccentric angel visions, but also by Giotto's and Angelico's. But my ensuing is just a self-conscious and surreptitious glimpse on their clothes. I do not dare to look at them in the eye.
