"I want to make masterpieces!": this is what I wrote while I was studying at Dusseldorf's Academy of Fine Arts (1937-1977) first with Prof. Joseph Beuys and then with Prof. Gerhard Richter.
My Venus painting was freely inspired by P. P. Rubens', which is today housed in the Vaduz Lichtenstein collection.
To make the modernise the painting I set it in cardboard frame, painted with dripping/action painting.
